2 vintage books
This listing has two vintage children's books published in the 1960s. Both are Weekly Reader Children's Book Club HBs. One has a DJ.
Fear in the Forest by Cateau De Leeuw with illustations by Leonard Vosburgh was published in 1960. Condition: Good/Good--pages show little to no handling; pages are lightly tanned, but are more tanned around the edges; binding tight; name written inside the front cover and on the back inside flap of the DJ; the bookmark that came with the DJ (originally attached to the DJ) is tucked inside the back cover (initials written on it); DJ has wear along the edge; DJ is not price clipped.
Set in Ohio in the late 1700s (1794?).
Devil's Doorstep by Marian Rumsey with illustrations by W. T. Mars was published in 1966. Condition: Good--pages show little to no handling; a couple of pages have light soiling; there is a name written inside the front cover; binding tight; rubbing wear on the back cover.
Set in the Rocky Mountains probably in the 1950s.
