2 Helme Heine books
This listing has two different books written and illustrated by Helme Heine. One is a HB with a DJ, and it is signed, and one is a PB.
The Pigs' Wedding is a HB with a DJ. It is signed on a special book plate glued to the half title page: The Keene State College Children's Literature Festival. It was published by Margaret K. McElderry Books in 1978. It is the First American Edition, 1st printing. Condition: Very Good/Good--pages are crisp and clean; binding tight; someone wrote her name on the bookplate in pencil (near the signature); binding tight; covers in nice shape; DJ shows slight handling; DJ has a small tear at the top of the spine; DJ has a tear in the upper corner (around 1 inch); DJ has been price clipped.
Friends is a Scholastic PB. Condition: Good--book shows handling; 2 pages (opposite each other) have a small brown spot stain; there is a last name written inside the front cover.
